about Course

Let your child experience speed and excitement while learning safe driving, improving focus and reaction time. In a safe environment, kids can obtain a karting license, master practical skills, and enjoy the thrill of racing!

Day 1

Safety First

8:15 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Arrival & Registration.

  • Morning Briefing.

  • Electric Kids Kart Safety Lecture & Theory Training (safety rules, flag signals, track regulations).

  • 2 Electric Kids Kart Driving Sessions on the Mini Track.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

  • Lunch & Break

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Electric Kids Kart Driving Session.

  • Guided 80cc Kart Session led by Jasper Thong.

  • 2 80cc Gasoline Kart Driving Sessions on the Main Circuit.

  • Junior Karting License Practical Assessment.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Daily Performance Review.

  • Questions & Answers.

  • Junior Karting License Certificate Presentation.

Day 2

BUILD YOUR SKILLS

  • Arrival & Morning Briefing.

  • Guided Track Walk with an introduction to racing lines, braking points, and corner entry and exit techniques.

  • 15-Minute Warm-Up Session.

  • 2 80cc Gasoline Kart Driving Sessions (minimum 10 minutes each).

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

  • Lunch & Break.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Team-building activity focused on communication and collaboration.

  • Three Low-Speed Kids Kart Driving Sessions (minimum 10 minutes each).

  • Brake control practice.

  • Throttle control exercises.

  • Racing line development.

  • Slalom driving drills.

  • Daily Performance Review.

Day 3

RACE DAY FUN

  • JTR Kart Academy was founded by Jasper Thong, a former Audi Hong Kong professional racer, Asia and China karting champion, and HKAA Level 1 Competition Karting Coach. Students learn directly from experienced racing professionals with real-world competitive experience.

  • Yes. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Junior Karting Certificate of Achievement, recognising their participation and progress throughout the course. The certificate celebrates the skills, knowledge, and confidence gained during their training at JTR Kart Academy.
